Lima, April 8, 2026.- As part of its academic and technical program, proEXPLO 2026 will present an interactive poster exhibition that will allow attendees to explore, in a dynamic way, a curated selection of research, real-world case studies, and innovative proposals related to mining exploration.

This dynamic format, which facilitates direct interaction with both the content and its authors, aims to bring specialized knowledge closer to the mining community through a more engaging and participatory experience. Organized by day and displayed in freestanding display stations, the posters will cover key topics such as applied geoscience, technological innovation, sustainability, and the use of advanced tools such as artificial intelligence.

Technical Sessions

During the sessions, from May 4 to 6, proEXPLO attendees will be able to explore the different thematic display stations, featuring studies on geological modeling, geochemical analysis, mineral systems, exploration in covered areas, and deposit characterization, among others.

The first day, Monday, will focus on innovation, sustainability, and new tools to better understand the territory, including presentations on circular economy approaches to mining waste management, explainable artificial intelligence, and advanced geostatistical applications in exploration projects.

Tuesday will address topics related to geological innovation, artificial intelligence, and regulation, highlighting research on mineral prospectivity, project optimization, and regulatory aspects related to exploration activities.

Finally, Wednesday will be dedicated to IOCG systems and hydrothermal evolution, emphasizing their importance in the development of strategic mineral resources.

Exchange Platform

The poster space will also serve as a platform for technical exchange among professionals, researchers, and students, promoting direct dialog with authors and facilitating discussion of approaches, methodologies, and results.

It will also include submissions from the student competition, strengthening the participation of emerging talent and their connection with the mining industry.
